Wowww…Pembangunan Jalan di Delta Mas Gunakan Aspal Plastik

SEPUTAR PROPERTI/Cikarang – Limbah plastik merupakan salah satu sumber polusi yang cukup besar di Indonesia, bahkan menurut data PBB pada 2023 menunjukkan volume limbah plastik di Indonesia merupakan terbesar kedua di dunia setelah China. Data Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan pada tahun 2023 menunjukkan ada sekitar 12,87 juta ton limbah plastik, dimana 39,4 persen limbah plastik tersebut masih belum terkelola.

Untuk turut berkontribusi dalam pengolahan limbah plastik, Sinar Mas Land menerapkan penggunaan aspal berbahan dasar cacahan limbah plastik High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE) di Kota Deltamas sejak 2023 lalu.

Sinar Mas Land bermitra dengan PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (Chandra Asri Group) sebagai pemrakrasa dan PT Subur Brother untuk penggarapan aspal. Pada tahun 2024, Sinar Mas Land menargetkan gelaran jalan aspal sepanjang 12,2 kilometer di kawasan Kota Deltamas.

Inisiatif ini setara dengan memanfaatkan 52,4 ton cacahan limbah plastik kresek dan mengurangi emisi karbon sebesar 94,3 ton CO2. Presiden Direktur PT Puradelta Lestari Tbk sekaligus CEO Commercial National Sinar Mas Land- Hongky J. Nantung mengatakan, Sinar Mas Land selalu berkomitmen untuk melakukan berbagai upaya nyata menghadapi permasalahan lingkungan.

Ia menambahkan, pemakaian aspal berbahan limbah plastik menjadi solusi konkret mengatasi permasalahan limbah plastik di Indonesia. Hal ini juga sesuai dengan visi Kota Deltamas untuk menjadi area hunian, komersial dan kawasan industri yang ramah lingkungan dan menerapkan pembangunan berkelanjutan.

Sebelumnya Sinar Mas Land dan PT Chandra Asri Pacific Tbk (Chandra Asri Group) sukses merampungkan gelaran jalan aspal sepanjang 8,6 kilometer di kawasan BSD City. Inisiatif ini setara dengan memanfaatkan 164,2 juta lembar plastik kresek atau 410,57 ton limbah plastik kresek dari TPA.

Pencapaian kolaborasi antara Sinar Mas Land dan Chandra Asri Group juga turut menjadikan kawasan BSD City sebagai township pertama di Indonesia yang memanfaatkan aspal plastik.

Penerapan penggunaan aspal dari bahan limbah plastik di Kota Deltamas sesuai dengan visi Sinar Mas Land untuk mewujudkan kawasan yang ramah lingkungan. Kota Deltamas dibangun dengan standar low pollution industrial karena semua tenant diwajibkan mengontrol polusi udara, suara dan limbah cair.

Kota Deltamas juga menghemat energi dengan menggunakan lampu LED dan lampu PJU (penerangan jalan umum) hybrid dengan solar panel, bahkan pemenuhan listrik di Marketing Office Kota Deltamas bersumber dari 100% renewable energy.
